General Access Control

  • This page controls access to tests that don't have their own test-specific password-protection.
    • To add test-specific password protection, return to the admin menu, select a test and click the "Configure Passwords" button.
    • If no users exist here or for a specific test, the test will not be password-protected.
  • Passwords are encrypted and cannot be retrieved.

Add a User

Enter name or ID: (Student must enter name exactly the same to log in.)
Enter password: (Password is case-sensitive and cannot be more than 8 letters long.)

Import Users

Use this function to import name/password pairs from a file.

Each line in the file must consist of a name, followed by a comma, followed by a password. You can generate this type of file from a spreadsheet where the first column contains names and the second column contains the corresponding passwords. Then export your spreadsheet as a CSV (comma-separated) file and upload the file below.

Existing users with the same names will be overwritten.

Check this box only if the passwords are already encrypted (i.e. if you are importing a file generated by the "Export" function on this page).
